This hotel was brilliant base for exploring Auckland, liked it. The restaurant was located within 500 metres. Moreover, bonus was free Wi-Fi.

Staff was very diligent, breakfast was fresh with coffee, yoghourt, porridge, fresh bread and muffins. The view from the executive suite was incredible! Just superb location, a short walk to interesting area. Good service throughout my stay. I loved that the beach was adjacent to the hotel.

Queen street and other tourist destinations were situated within short walking distance to this place. A wide array of restaurants to eat close by, like Mexican Cafe that was only 10 minutes' walk away. We appreciated the fact that we chose barclay suites.

Location was prime, and I enjoyed regular double rooms and welcoming staff. The bed was extra large and it was great having balcony, TV with cable channels and large windows. Generally everything was fab, nonetheless the bathroom was poor. The beach was wonderful.

Pretty average views from the window.

If you want to eat nearby, try The Grove, which is situated 500 m away. Easy to go to the airport, which is 20 km away. Amazing base for a city trip in Auckland! We would be happy to recommend as we enjoyed barclay suites...

Nothing that i didnt like.
